DropBox is an interesting multiplatform application and service in one that allows you to backup data on external servers (free limit up to 2 GB). The tool makes it easy to archive data on your computer, sync it later and share it online with your friends. In the case of the latter process, it is enough to activate the Share option, and enter the e-mail addresses to which the links to files are sent.

An important aspect of the DropBox application is simplicity of use (just add a folder to synchronize with the server), synchronization of data with multiple systems at the same time, access to files from a web browser and secure transfer of files via SSL protocol and AES-256 encryption.
