DeSmuME is a free Nintendo DS emulator created by a team of enthusiasts. Currently, the program is being developed for Windows and Mac OS. Through the program we can easily run the most popular titles published on the Nintendo DS console.

Emulator supports games such as The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, New Super Mario Bros, Mario Kart DS, Phoenix Wright, WarioWare, Pokemony and much more. DeSmuME not only emulates the console itself, but also offers a number of additional options that are not found in the Nintendo product.

These include the ability to enlarge the display screens of the game, filters to improve image quality and map preview. DeSmuME is also equipped with a tool for recording the sound and recording the game to an AVI or WMV file, creating screenshots of the game, quick saving and reading of game statuses and finally the mechanism of entering codes into the game, debugger and registry preview.
