A free program for creating Video DVD, Video CD, Super Video CD, CVD and DIVX/MPEG4 formats, fully compatible with most stationary DVD players. DeVeDe supports most of the most popular video formats (MPEG/MPEG4, AVI, ASF, FLV, WMV, OGG and others) and subtitles (SUB, SRT), offering a number of useful and easy to use features. These include options to add subtitles to the compilation (and set their position), choose the PAL/NTSC system, design a menu for the disc, choose the transmission rate of video/audio, target resolution (1920x1080, 1280x720, 720x576, 704x576, 480x576, 352x576, 352x288), aspect ratio (4:3, 16:9), as well as scaling mode.

Additionally, the application has mechanisms whose task is to improve image quality - such as Trellis quantification, MacroBlock algorithm and interlacing removal. The result can be saved as a disk structure or a BIN/CUE and ISO image. DeVeDe is often used as a tool for converting videos to MPEG format.
