cFos Professional is a more advanced version of the cFosSpeed application designed to speed up Internet use with traffic management functions. With normal data transfer, packet reception must be acknowledged (control packets) before subsequent packets are transmitted, without Traffic Management, control packets are slowed down by continuous data transmission and as a result, data retrieval is also slowed down. Traffic management with cFos is based on the fact that control packets take precedence when uploading data, allowing you to reach full speed when downloading.

Traffic management also allows you to optimize TCP/IP acknowledgements, maintain low ping times, give higher priority to individual programs, improve the quality of VoIP calls and prioritize other protocols. Traffic acceleration is best suited for broadband (DSL, cable), narrowband (modem, ISDN) and cellular connections.
