cFosSpeed is an application designed to speed up the use of the Internet through traffic management functions. With normal data transfer, packet reception must be acknowledged (control packets) before subsequent packets are transmitted, without Traffic Management, control packets are slowed down by continuous data transmission and as a result, data retrieval is also slowed down. Traffic management with cFosSpeed is based on the fact that control packets take precedence when uploading data, allowing you to reach full speed when downloading.

In addition to prioritising control packets, Traffic Management also enables TCP/IP acknowledgements to be optimised, ping times to be kept low, individual programmes to be given higher priority, VoIP call quality to be improved and other protocols to be prioritised.
