BlazeDVD 6 is a free DVD player that allows you to watch movies stored on DVD, HD-DVD, VCD and SVCD as well as files encoded in MPG, VOB, AC3, ASF, M1V, M2V, MOV, QT, AVI, WMV, DAT, VRO, WAV, MID, WM, WMA, MP2, MP3, RMI, RM, RMVB, MOV, QT, SWF, OGM and other formats. In addition, the program offers support for high-resolution HD content (1080i/1080p), standards for recording and playback of audio recordings, including mono and stereo (in the Pro version also 5.1, 6.1, 7.1), allows you to play subtitles and has a built-in skin mechanism. BlazeDVD 6 also enables, which is rather unheard of in competitive software, to create screenshots of the movie being played back, offers the function of saving selected fragments to MPEG2 or MP3 formats on a local hard disk and easy power management.

The latter is extremely useful for laptops, as the program allows you to set a minimum battery charge level at which you can play the movie. Despite many language versions available from the level of the program, we will not find a Polish graphic interface.
