Avira Antivirus Pro is an antivirus for commercial users. In addition to traditional protection against malware, the application uses the manufacturer's cloud, as well as scanning web pages viewed. Email protection modules as well as the integration with the Windows firewall offer additional protection.

The main component of Avira Antivirus Pro is an antivirus scanner. It works in real time to ensure the safety of the user. It is also possible to scan both selected directories and the entire hard disk.

The application uses the Avira Protection Cloud to scan files, it also allows you to detect potentially unwanted software (PUP). One of the components of the application is Internet protection, which scans the web pages you are browsing and blocks those that contain malware or attempt to deceive the user. Additional protection is provided by scanning of Internet mail sent using POP3, IMAP and SMTP protocols.

The application integrates with the Windows firewall giving quick access to its rules. Application settings allow you to select the default actions to be performed when an infection is found. In addition, the user can adjust the level of heuristic protection, as well as secure access to virus settings with a password.

The application is characterized by high efficiency, speed is provided by extended xVDF virus definition files. Unfortunately, Avira does not have an interface in Polish. The application is chargeable, the trial version allows you to use it for 30 days.
