Avira Free Security Suite is a free security package that offers comprehensive protection against various types of threats - viruses, Trojan horses, spyware, advertising components, ramsomware, and so on. The main component of the package is Avira Free Antivirus, a well-known and respected antivirus program, which offers on-demand scanner, real-time protection and firewall, and is also able to protect the user from modern, often still unknown threats. It has a simple but intuitive user interface and allows you to monitor all opened and saved data.

Avira Free Security Suite also includes a set of additional tools, including Avira Password Manager, Phantom VPN applications (500 MB per month), Avira System SpeedUp optimization program and Free Software Updater software update tool. Avira Browser Safety extension for blocking cookies and offering a module for blocking burdensome advertisements is also installed in browsers.
