wxDev-C++ is a variant of the popular DevCPP environment, created for designing applications based on wxWidgets - a framework enabling the creation of applications on different platforms using the same code. wxDev-C++ is equipped with wxWidgets form creation tools for quick application design and connecting object methods to events. Just like its classic version, wxDevCPP has a built-in debugger with options for observing variable values, displaying local variables and viewing processor registers.

The editor has the function of code completion, profiled syntax highlighting. Additionally, there is a viewer of classes included in the project and a simple CVS client.
