StarUML is an OpenSource project that aims to create a fast, flexible, functional and extensible UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling environment for the Windows platform, which could compete with commercial solutions in this field. With the Unified Modeling Language you can easily describe the world of objects in object-oriented programming and object-oriented analysis. In its current version, StarUML is compliant with the UML 2.0 standard, which is distinguished by 13 main diagrams and 4 abstract diagrams.

The functionality of the program can be extended by means of plug-ins available on the project website. The tool has a good, legible interface, which should be appreciated by all users.
