SpywareGuard is a program that continuously attempts to install spyware components from infected EXE and CAB files, allows you to protect them from downloading and interference with the settings of your web browser. SpywareGuard works in the same way as antivirus software - apart from the fact that it works "in the background", it allows to update the database of signatures of dangerous components, as well as has built-in heuristic analysis mechanisms to help in detecting yet unknown or mutated spyware components.
