A tool for creating compilations and reports presenting data stored in different types of databases. Data can be retrieved from database servers in direct mode and processed using SQL or Fast Report. SQL Report Express works with Advantage (formerly used by the program manufacturer), xBase (DBF/NTX/CDX) (i.e.

Clipper, DBASE, FOX, VFP), Clarion (programs for CDN's DOS), Microsoft Access and SQL Server databases and many others, for which OLE DB and ODBC drivers are available. The program is particularly useful in cases when applications storing their data in the database are not able to provide the user through a standard interface all the necessary information (which can be in the database, but due to the lack of appropriate presentation mechanisms are used for example only internally by the application). The program was also created for programmers and implementers who support companies using such software.

With SQL Report Express, they can define reports that can be easily implemented by their clients. All parameters, settings and SQL syntax are saved by the program in one file, which can be copied to the client's directory and allow the client to generate customized reports on their own.
