sPinger is a small application with a graphical interface for pinging, i.e. testing the connection with other hosts on the network. It is an alternative to the system solution, which in Windows is supported in console mode.
The main advantage of the program is the ability to automatically create lists of available addresses in a given subnetwork, for which its address and mask are used. Another benefit is that you can download hostnames and assign them to specific addresses in the list. The program can operate in loop mode to start analyzing the list from scratch after checking pings with all addresses - this is a useful solution for testing and troubleshooting.
A curiosity is the extensive visual settings. There are many ways to edit the appearance of the list of addresses, as well as icons that correspond to the effectiveness of pinging with a specific host.
