Simplyzip is a very simple but fully functional file compressor, offering support for a large number of commonly used archive formats. Its unquestionable advantage is the minimal need for system resources, so that it can be successfully used on older computers. Apart from its basic functionality of creating and unpacking archives in various formats, the application also enables repair of damaged ACR and ZIP files, securing compressed data with a password, creating self-extracting SFX archives or encrypting archives with AES/Twofish or Blowfish algorithm.

The program also includes the option of testing archives for errors and support for plug-ins, with the help of which we will expand the capabilities of the tool with new functions. Simplyzip can create archives 7z, ZIP, CZIP, CAB, LHA, TAR, TAR GZ TAR BZ2, ACE (optional DLL), Deepfreezer, SQX, UCL, RS, ZIP-SFX/LHA-SFX, RAR-SFX, UUE/XXE, ZLIB and Base64, as well as open/extract files ZIP, CZIP, ACE, CAB, RAR, TAR, GZIP, LZH, BZ2, SQX, RS, UUE, XXE, BASE64, UCL, ARJ, ZLIB, ALIB, RPM, DEB and 7-ZIP.
