Simutrans is a free economic game inspired by the classic Transport Tycoon. Modifications and a number of other changes make the gameplay much more difficult. We play the role of a transport tycoon, who has to take care of the infrastructure of cities by building roads, establishing transport routes and purchasing buses, trains or planes to serve the individual transport channels.

We decide where and from where and what is to be transported. Depending on whether it's people, raw materials for factories or products, we take care of transport as well as ensuring continuous sales. Our actions influence not only the enrichment, but also the development of cities and the whole region.

The project, which was initially developed hobbyistically by one man, after many years was in the hands of a thriving community of fans and it is thanks to them that you can try your hand at many different sceneries - to download the game are packages with cities shown in a typically comic way, with futuristic metropolises and vehicles or objects stylized as English, German or Japanese. The game has a lot of options allowing grown-up transporters to place it almost completely under each other, but also for beginners, with the default options, it will allow you to spend many nice moments when setting up stops or building airports. The whole is complemented by the network mode, in which we take care of the capacity of our distribution channels together with players on the Internet or the local network.
