Electronic Arts at one point wanted to bring Need for Speed closer to racing simulators and released the ProStreet of the famous series. Long routes and rushing through the streets in the cities were abandoned in favour of closed tracks, i.e. a typical environment of professional drivers.

It was also decided to abandon the topic of illegal races and after-burning cars. The game was supposed to attract a slightly different group of recipients. A lot of emphasis has also been placed on modifying cars.

There are many more options when it comes to the appearance of vehicles, but more important from the point of view of subsequent starts is the efficient improvement of four-wheelers. During the clashes there is a characteristic line suggesting the optimal track, which is later used in many other productions. Of course, it can be switched off.

A much more advanced system of destruction has been developed. Tracks are mostly transferred to the virtual world, actually existing places. The available play modes do not allow you to get bored.

Apart from the standard fight for a place at the finish line, there are also drag, drift and quite an interesting game of points, accumulating after passing the next goals. ProStreet impresses with its graphic design. The trial version is a small section of a full game, but you can play for a while.
