mrViewer is a media player that can run standard audio and video files, but also allows you to open "flipbooks". The tool was created for more advanced users who will appreciate the available functionality, but will not work well in the form of a typical media player, such as an alternative to Windows Media Player. Not everyone needs an application that supports OpenEXR, PSD, MIFF, TIFF and EDL formats, passive sound in 3D, or a program that can handle HDRI content - what mrViewer can provide.

mrViewer is characterized by a dark, quite complicated interface, which even more experienced people will take some time to master. Especially that at first you may get the impression that not all options are arranged in a logical way (in fact, each of them is available at your fingertips from the context menu after right-clicking on the mouse).
