Link Shell Extension is an extension of the Windows system shell with the ability to create symbolic links, also known as hard and symbolic links and links. It is a significant convenience in a situation when we would like to use these mechanisms directly in Windows, without using additional tools - by default, such options are impossible or access to them is very difficult and easy to use only for advanced computer users (often console-oriented). In this case, operation will not pose any challenge, as you only need to use the menu options that appear in the system shell.

Select the directories or individual files you are interested in, and then point to the link options available from the context menu at any level of Windows Explorer. The application offers access to several basic settings. We will start them not from the context menu, but from an additional icon that will appear after installation in the Start menu.

You will find there, first of all, the possibility to indicate the type of external hard links that you want to create, how to generate symbolic links and how to save them.
