GMail Drive is a small application that makes your Google GMail account visible to your system as a virtual disk in the My Computer window. It can be used in the same way as in the case of regular discs. Using drag&drop technology, you can copy any files to the new "disk" with the limitation that the size of a single file must not exceed 20 MB.
The solution may facilitate file transfer, it may also serve as a certain security gateway in the case of documents important for the user (no problems with the computer have no impact on file security). Considering the large space offered by GMail (6 GB), the solution can be widely used. Of course, it is important to bear in mind the significant limitations related to the data transfer rate.
