Gmail Notifier is a small application designed to check your Gmail inbox and keep you informed of new messages. The program allows you to support more than one Gmail account, and when new messages appear in your mailbox, it informs you via a blinking icon in the system tray or an audible signal, indicated by you. Communication with mail servers takes place via IMAP protocol (connection encrypted by SSL), which retrieves only message headers from the mailbox, containing, among others, information about the sender, title and attachments.

The full content of the e-mail is displayed after double-clicking on the selected message. Gmail Notifier is available in several languages, including Polish. Its use and initial configuration, limited only to giving access data to the Gmail account, should not cause any problems for anyone.
