FontLab VI is a powerful yet easy to use tool for editing and creating fonts. With FontLab VI you will be able to open (file or installed font), as well as modify and design any font using the available tools, including brush, pencil and even pen. This makes it possible for each user to create the font of their dreams in the style of their choice.

The FontLab VI is a very intuitive tool. Once you have set the name of the new font on the screen, you will see all the letters, numbers and symbols that you will prepare to create your own font. After completing this step, we will save your work as a VFC or VFJ.

When importing fonts, the list of supported formats is much more extensive (it includes well over a dozen types of files). Individual settings can be saved so that you can use them when creating another project. So you don't have to define various parameters every time (including, for example, brush thickness and angle), so you can get started faster.
