ESET Internet Security is a security package from ESET, the successor of the valued Smart Security, integrating in one solution the latest version of ESET NOD32 antivirus and anti-spyware, firewall, anti-spam filter, parental control and banking, protection in case of laptop theft and more. The program emphasizes the simplicity of use and the lowest possible number of settings and notifications, assuming that the majority of users expect from this type of tool, first of all, unnoticeable work in the background. The whole creates a tool that protects the user against a wide range of threats.

ThreatSense technology, well known to ESET NOD32 users, has been developed with artificial intelligence components, significantly improving the program's ability to detect new threats on its own. New in version 2018 includes a license manager (which was already present in ESET products for businesses), a home network scanner that analyzes the computer environment including devices within the Internet of Things and is able to perform a brute force test on routers security, and a background scanner UEFI, which protects against threats still running against the operating system.
