Duelyst is a very interesting free offer for all those who love strategy games in fantasy climates. The project was financed from the funds raised during the community collection and is constantly being developed in consultation with the founders. Its production is the responsibility of people who previously worked, among others, at Diablo III.

We received a sweetly pixeled game. The gameplay is based on Internet competition. In the selected arena there are two sides clash, equipped with powerful spell cards, various combat units or artifacts.

The action has been divided into instant rounds, during which each of the two players takes certain actions, aimed at defeating the opponent, of course. In order to do this, the life of the enemy General has to be destroyed to zero, which is obviously more difficult than it seems at first. You need to prepare a powerful waist to be able to fight meaningfully.

We start the game with 40 cards in the pocket. It consists of the mentioned creatures, spells or magic objects. The first is, of course, the impact force, but also the line of defence.

The second, properly played, can immediately change the situation on the arena. The artifacts, worn at most three at the same time, strengthen the abilities of the General, who also takes part in the fight. Cards are played for mana, gained from turn to turn.

An additional one can be obtained from special sources occupied on the map. A simple idea can be drawn in for long hours. Not without significance here is also stylized on a slightly archaic 2D frame, but with beautifully animated two-dimensional units.

We can argue for one of the few available factions, which have a set of completely different cards, and thus the ability to play tactical games. It is worth trying out all of them and discover the one that fits best. Duelyst installer will download the latest files needed to play.
