Duke Nukem had previously been the hero of several computer platformers, but it wasn't until the 3D series was transferred and turned it into a dynamic FPP shooter that the famous hardcore had a huge fame. To this day it's still nice to go back to a position that not only changed the face of the whole gaming trend, but also promoted the talked-about macho to the idol of the crowds, repeating his cult offensive responses. Who doesn't remember the texts about the finished rubber for life, lawn mower or steel eggs, thrown during the breaks from shooting enemy aliens who like to kidnap earthly girls.

From the first moments, the project delighted with its graphic design, multi-level stages, carefully buried secret rooms and, above all, absorbing gameplay. After years, it still holds quite well, offering high quality madness, also multi-person. Duke Nukem 3D used to be strong on innovation in many areas.

We already had jumping and looking around in all directions, but in addition there were different ways to get out of the stages, deadly modern weapons, as well as aids to use, with accelerating steroids and a jet backpack to fly at the forefront. One should not forget about the destruction of the environment, although it was often a matter of pre-programmed actions. Demolition of buildings is not forgotten.

The shareware version offers to play the whole first episode of the story, which consists of several levels. This way, it provides a really big portion of fun. To play the game you will need to download and start the DOSBox program.
