Deluge is a multi-platform Torrent client, available for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows platforms. The most important functionalities offered by the application include the ability to configure bandwidth usage, local configuration of partners, support for proxy servers, FAST, UPnP and NAT-PMP extensions. The program supports so called non-tracker torrents using DHT protocol and allows encryption of transmission.

Originally named gTorrent and intended for GNOME, it changed its name to Deluge over time, with the authors aiming to create a lightweight Torrent client.
