ComboFix is a free and extremely effective tool for creating detailed system logs and removing all kinds of malicious software from your computer. The program does not require any installation and is handled via a text interface. After starting ComboFix creates a backup of the data, which will be restored in case of failure.

The program scans the system thoroughly during operation, automatically removing any malware encountered. This process may last differently depending on the degree of computer viruses and during the process you may notice various strange behaviors (e.g. disappearance of icons from the desktop, changing the configuration of the watch on the taskbar, etc.), but you should not worry about it - after finishing work everything should return to its original state.
