Cameyo is a free tool that allows you to virtualize programs from the Windows operating system. Using this program we create applications in a portable version, which can be run directly from the local network, USB devices (USB flash drives, memory cards), Dropbox or even from a CD/DVD without the need to install. Before creating a portable version of the application, Cameyo performs a preliminary analysis of the entire contents of the hard drive and individual file structures and folders.
It then packs the application into a single executable file with the .exe extension, which is launched in a special virtualized environment, isolated from the rest of the operating system. It includes not only the application installation files, but also all registry entries and remnants of the installation of a given program. In the program you will also find a built-in editor (Package Editor), allowing for advanced editing of the executable file.
With its help, we can rename created packages, add or delete other files, and view registry entries in the executable file. The editor is available only for experienced users. Cameyo also has another useful feature that enables sharing the created mobile applications on the manufacturer's servers in the cloud.
In this way, the user can run applications on any computer. Cameyo software is an essential tool for people who often use portable devices such as flash drives or memory cards.
