Bitdefender Internet Security is a package designed for comprehensive computer security. It protects against various types of threats (viruses, trojans, ransomware) and allows you to filter network traffic. The package includes Antivirus - an antivirus program, Firewall - a firewall blocking dangerous scripts and dialers, protecting against attacks of external hackers and filtering information sent by the user, Antispam - a module for protection against spam, i.e.

"spam". The module allows to block access to selected websites, block access to the Internet in a specified time (e.g. during homework time), as well as block selected applications.

The new version offers, among others, a module for data protection in social networks and the Autopilot mode, when enabled, Bitdefender does not display any messages and questions, automatically selecting the configuration and responding according to the situation. The manufacturer has also introduced a component protecting users against ransomware, i.e. pests, e.g.

encrypting data and requesting a ransom.
