Active port forwarder is a stable and safe tool for tunnelling connections created by the Pole, operating on the basis of the client-server model. It is addressed to all users who do not have a public IP address but would like to provide their own services (e.g. HTTP server, FTP, etc.) on the network.

Tunnelled using an Active Port Forwarder, data is compressed and encrypted, and the use of a single fixed control/data channel with flow control and packet caching ensures both good performance and low latency. In this way, you can not only connect via the console to the remote machine, but also reach for X2go to access the desktop remotely. Use of the APF requires the installation of server software on a machine with a public IP address (e.g.

some proprietary VPS) and client software on a machine located behind a firewall. The client and the server are started from the console. The documentation is quite clear, with examples, so the configuration should not cause any problems to people who can use the tools without graphical interfaces.

At the beginning I had problems with the operation of the program, but after some time I caught everything. It's ok.
