Active@ Partition Manager is a free program that is used to manage hard drives, USB mass storage devices and system or logical partitions created on them. The tool is great for recognizing volumes with the following filesystems: FAT, NTFS, NTFS + EFS, MacOS HFS+, Linux Ext2/Ext3/Ext4, Unix UFS and BtrFS.
Active@ Partition Manager supports both older and newer versions of popular "windows", including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012 and WinPE. Active@ Partition Manager allows you to format the logical disc or partition (FAT, exFAT, NTFS), change the logical disc size, edit and synchronize boot sectors FAT, exFAT, NTFS, UFS, HFS+ and Ext2/Ext3/Ext4, as well as initiate a new MBR or GPT disc, or repair a failed MBR disc (GPT). It also allows you to familiarize yourself with the advanced settings and attributes of a partition, hard drive or logical drive.
With Active@ Partition Manager we can also perform operations such as converting MBR to GPT or GPT to MBR, withdrawing changes (creating, deleting, formatting and initiating a hard disc), assigning or changing partition attributes (disc letter name), formatting flash memory as NTFS, creating FAT32 partitions larger than 32 GB (maximum 1 TB), and even creating multiple partitions on a USB flash device.
