Active@ Hard Disk Monitor is an interesting tool for checking and monitoring the status of hard drives. It works on the basis of S.M.A.R.T. technology, continuously displaying information about the condition of the drive and many important parameters (such as temperature, total operating time and many others).

In addition, the program offers an advanced testing feature that allows the user to detect all corrupt sectors on the drive surface. Active@ Hard Disk Monitor can also be used as a tool to observe basic parameters of the media during its operation. The charts option, which clearly shows the temperature of the disk in a given period of time (the free version limits this period only to one hour) during e.g.

copying large files or other operations that burden the device, is used for this purpose. When a critical state is reached, a pop-up warning is displayed (the PRO version also offers the possibility of sending an e-mail with a notification). Active@ Hard Disk Monitor can be started together with the operating system.

Its presence is indicated by an icon in the system tray, which displays the current disc temperature.
