X-Mouse Button Control is a small and free tool with huge possibilities for modifying and personalizing computer mouse settings. Thanks to it, in Windows it is possible to change the default actions for individual buttons and the roll built into the device. The program can operate up to 5 mouse buttons and a roll (in addition to scrolling, tilt is also supported), offering a large list of actions that can be launched when triggered by the user.

The most interesting actions available in X-Mouse Button Control include brightening/darkening the screen, triggering the screen saver, copy/paste/cut and search for selected text on the Internet, simulating pressing the 'Esc' or 'Enter' buttons, creating a screenshot, show/hide the desktop, previous/next window, mute or mute the sound, reverse and forward options in the web browser, as well as launching an e-mail client, a web browser or any application/game. Importantly, X-Mouse Button Control allows you to create profiles designed to work only with selected applications and games, but also to define layers for individual computer users.
