A popular free program for secure file transfer over SSH (SCP/SFTP) and FTP. WinSCP offers a choice of two interfaces: one with Total Commander-like panels, the other with a single window reminiscent of Windows Explorer.

The transmission is encrypted, cryptographic protocols AES, Blowfish, 3DES and DES are available. SSH protocol is supported both in version 1 and 2. The program is easy to use and has many useful functions, e.g.

for people who upload files via SSH to a web server. In the latest version, there are several long-awaited functions (e.g. the ability to rename memorized sessions), as well as a number of smaller corrections.
