WinMend Registry Defrag is a free and compact tool for defragmentation and cleaning of the system registry. WinMend Registry Defrag offers a user-friendly interface as well as ease of use when performing system registry defragmentation. The entire defragmentation process takes place in three steps.

At the beginning, the tool analyses the register and displays in the form of a graph which locations in the register need to be defragmented. In addition, it shows how much data will be reduced during optimization and also calculates (as a percentage) how much performance of the operating system itself will be increased. The last important step is the defragmentation process itself, which requires rebooting the computer after the optimization is completed.

WinMend Registry Defrag also creates a detailed report on the performed defragmentation process and displays, among other things, the total size of the data and a list of files that have been defragmented. It is also worth mentioning an additional feature that displays the most important information about the system registry, from which we can read the full name of the operating system and its version, the user name and the exact size of the current system registry.
