WinCDEmu is an open soure emulator of CD/DVD/BD drives in Windows, which is an excellent alternative to the popular DAEMON Tools. With its help we can create any number of virtual drives and install images of disks, e.g. games or programs.

The tool is very easy to use and fully integrates with Windows Explorer. The operation of creating a new virtual drive and mounting a selected disk image in it is limited to double-clicking an ISO, CUE, NRG, MDS/MDF, CCD or IMG file and defining several basic options, including drive letters in the system and disk type. To turn off a previously created drive, simply click the image mounted on it again.

WinCDEmu is characterized by its small size and speed of operation. It is addressed to users who would like to access the data contained in the disk image without having to burn it to a disc. The program can handle the image of discs with games, software, movies or simple data.
