The program is used to download the latest news to your desktop. By default, Wiadomek has two sources mounted: news and sport from Gazeta.pl.

The user can add other sources available in the network in RSS format (XML). In the "Wiadomka" options you can find a list of RSS sources considered interesting by the authors. The Newsletter enables special notification of breakthrough events of the day chosen by journalists from Gazeta.pl and Gazeta Wyborcza.

You can download all other content available in RSS format, blog entries, news groups, etc. to Wiadomek. A message may look like a rectangular 720x540 pixel window with photo, titles and bookmarks for different message sources or a thin bar with rotating messages.

The Message icon is located in the application bar. Its appearance informs whether there are new messages or not. Options allow you to hide the Message under other windows on the desktop, modify the way reports are displayed on the bar and the location of the bar itself.

Unfortunately, hiding the "options" in the upper right corner of the window is not very intuitive, but you can get used to it.
