VueMinder Lite is a free application that is an interesting combination of calendar and schedule. The program offers 2 modes of display - full and mini. The first one allows you to place a full calendar on the desktop, which can be managed without having to run the main window of the program.

The second, minimalist, displays only a calendar, similar to the one offered by other applications of this type. In both cases, the user can freely change the position and size of the calendar, as well as the level of its transparency. VueMinder has calendar and schedule functions to remind the user of planned tasks.

The application can be used as a tool for managing events, meetings, etc. In addition to information such as the start and end date of an event, location, category and priority, calendar entries may also include various types of attachments, such as image files, sound files, etc., which are added to the calendar. Another advantage of the programme is the large number of possible reminder options.

In addition to the standard "balloons", VueMinder also allows for alerts on upcoming events in the form of e-mail or SMS. You can also automatically synchronize with Google Calendar and share calendars with other people. The free version of the program has significant limitations in relation to the paid editions (Pro and Ultimate), however, the functionality offered by the program does not differ in any way from other solutions of this type.
