Visual Tooltip is a free Windows add-on for managing active program windows. The application enables, among other things, displaying a thumbnail of an open program window after hovering the cursor over a button located in the system taskbar. The height, width and colours of the displayed thumbnails can be freely changed in the program options.

In addition, you can activate the Quick Launch Programs bar in your settings, where you can drag and drop to place shortcuts to the most common applications, folders or documents. As with Mac OS X, this bar displays thumbnails of open windows. An interesting option of Visual Tooltip is the ability to freely move thumbnails of windows on the desktop.
