Valley Benchmark is another computer performance testing tool developed by Unigine Corp. The new benchmark, like the Heaven version, is available for Windows, Linux and OS X at the same time. The program allows you to test GPU performance by loading the GPU with complex computations associated with tessellation, rendering realistic and detailed objects, as well as physical phenomena.
Unigine Valley Benchmark supports DirectX 9, 11 and OpenGL version 4.0. Tests can be performed on graphics cards from manufacturers such as nVidia (minimum GeForce 8000 Series), ATI (minimum Radeon HD 4000 Series) and Intel HD (minimum 3000 Series). Valley Benchmark generates a virtual landscape set in a mountainous climate that covers more than 64 square kilometres of surface area.
Based on the smoothness of its playback, the result of the performance of the computer components is generated. Valley Benchmark offers support for benchmarking profiles that provide a convenient and fast comparison of results with other computers. In addition, the benchmark has a GPU temperature monitoring function that allows us to see when the GPU is most heavily loaded.
