Uget is a completely free, multi-platform accelerator for downloading files. The program allows you to download files shared via HTTP and FTP, among others. It has all the features that can be found in such programs, including resuming downloads after interrupted or erroneous connections, clipboard monitoring, logging in, proxy support, creating download categories, downloading and queuing them serially.

A characteristic feature of the program is the ability to import files to download from HTML documents and support from the command line. Recently, it has also been integrating with Firefox through the FlashGot extension.
