Type light is a free, fully functional tool for editing and designing fonts. It allows you to easily create your own fonts, modify existing ones, and convert them between TTF and OTF formats. After loading the selected font into the program, it is possible to edit any character indicated by the user from their entire array.

It is possible to change the shape of individual letters and numbers, rounding of edges, etc., and to modify such font parameters as name, description or metric. Type light also gives you the ability to create your own fonts from scratch. To this end, tools for drawing basic shapes, lines and curves are available, whose characteristic points can then be manipulated.

The program offers a 10-level mechanism for undoing and restoring changes. Type light is a very good tool for beginners as well as more advanced users who would like to create their own fonts. The tool has a built-in glyph map containing more than 65,000 Unicode characters.
