Tunatic is a tool for identifying musical works. Useful for files that are not tagged and do not have a title and artist name. The program analyzes sounds recorded by the sound card.

Depending on the settings in the system, it can therefore receive sound from the microphone, line input or system mixer. For identification purposes, an unknown work must be played back. The tunatic will then connect to its server, where you will be able to compare the received sound with the track database.

The database is created by a community of users, who place their master works in it.
