Trillian Astra is a multi-communicator that supports most of the world's most popular communication protocols (Windows Live Messenger, AOL Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, ICQ, MySpaceIM, Skype, Jabber, Bonjour, IRC) and social networks (Twitter, Facebook). It stands out from the competition due to its high functionality and user-friendly graphical interface.

The program provides the possibility of text communication (also in a paid voice and video version), conference management, access to the mailbox from the communicator level, support for widgets and graphic motifs, file transfer and an extensive message archive module. An interesting function is the ability to format the text in the chat window, as well as sending drawings (sketched directly in the chat window of the communicator) to the contacts on our list. An unquestionable drawback of Trillian Astra is the lack of available Polish language version of the communicator, lack of support for the most popular in Poland GG network and social networking services (nasza-klasa.pl, fotka.pl).
