Thumbs Remover is a simple tool for searching and removing preview files (thumbs.db) generated by Windows. Thumbs.db files are created automatically by the system and collect (thumbnails) cache graphics, movies, documents and HTML files. Their main goal is to improve the efficiency of folder opening in Windows Explorer.

Over time, the system may accumulate a large number of such files, which may unnecessarily occupy the surface of our hard drive. Thumbs Remover allows you to search for such files and allows you to indicate from which locations they should be deleted. In addition, Thumbs Remover offers the ability to enable and disable the thumbs.db file generation process (Windows XP and 8) as well as allowing quick access to scan folders or disks by integrating with the context menu of Windows Explorer.
