The Aurora Wager is a simple but quite detailed balloon flight simulator created by the authors in a few days for a special 7DRL competition. The player accepts a bet from a friend about who will be the first to reach the North Pole using his or her own aerostat. We start the race by configuring a "drive element", which will fill the balloon with hot air and will be able to lift us into the air with the nacelle.

We also don't forget to throw down the ballast, set up the compass and other instruments necessary for the flight. Being in the air, our primary task is to catch the best possible air currents to reach the Pole as quickly as possible. Another important issue is fuel and food supplies, which will have to be replenished systematically by landing on the islands encountered on the route.

Many times we will come to visit huge areas of land before we equip ourselves and the ship with the appropriate equipment. During the game we do not focus only on activities directly related to the operation of numerous control devices, a number of indicators, clocks, counters, but we enjoy the wonderful views and beauty of the nature surrounding us from all around us, unwittingly forgetting about the basic purpose of the expedition. The Aurora Wager 3 is a quite detailed balloon flight simulator, which in addition to great fun consisting in steering the ship provides a lot of pleasant sensations and ensures well-being for a long time ;-).
