Sylpheed is a very easy to use e-mail client with an intuitive user interface and the most important options useful when using your own e-mail account. Thanks to this tool we can of course configure our own e-mail account (supports POP3, IMAP and SMTP protocols), and then receive, send, delete and sort e-mails. Sylpheed also allows you to filter and search for content, so you can quickly find the messages you need or display only the most important entries (e.g.

excluding spam). The program minimizes the load on the resources of our computer and can be an interesting alternative to much more complex applications of this type, such as Outlook Express. Sylpheed can be used as a reader for discussion groups.
