StrongDC++ is a free Direct Connect client, designed for direct file exchange using so-called hubs (grouping users sharing their resources). The application is a modified version of DC+++, in which new functions and new features have been implemented. The most important features of StrongDC+++ include the ability to download one file from multiple sources at the same time, setting limits for incoming and outgoing transfers or splitting files into smaller fragments.

Another interesting option offered by StrongDC++ is the function responsible for releasing free slots during poor data transfer. The author has also made sure that StrongDC++ offers a lot of configuration possibilities, including the possibility of filtering users and clients of the network, from which the data is not to be downloaded.
