Stepok Raw Importer is a free graphical tool for importing, basic processing and conversion of photographs saved in raw RAW format. It is based on the DCRAW component and allows for comprehensive management of images, from the camera's copying to saving as JPEG files on the disk. The tool, despite its small size, offers all the necessary functions that a novice photographer can expect from this type of application.

The Raw Importer Stepok allows the user to conveniently import raw photos (RAW files) from a digital camera, their basic processing and export to JPG files. When it comes to editing image files downloaded from the device, in most cases it is possible to use only "auto-improverters", which correct, among other things, exposure, white balance, etc. There were also options for sharpening and blurring photos.

However, this is not the end of the editing possibilities offered by this small tool. The user is provided with selection and cropping options, as well as more advanced layer and mask mechanisms. Stepok Raw Importer supports RAW files created by cameras from Canon (CR2, CRW), Kodak (DCR), Konica Minolta (MRW), Nikon (NEF), Olympus (ORF), Fujifilm (RAF), Sony (SRF), Leica, Contax, Casio and Adobe Digital Negative (DNG) format.

The tool can work in batch mode, making it easy to process more files.
