StartIsBack is a small tool for Windows 8 that will restore the desired Start menu for many users. This program restores the Start button on the taskbar together with all the tools and functions available from its level, similar to the Start menu known for example from Windows 7. Unlike competing solutions, StartIsBack works quickly, does not consume large batches of system resources and can be run in the system without administrator rights.

With their help we will change the number of items displayed in the list of recently used programs, modify the default operation performed by the button to turn off the computer power or hide selected menu items.
