If a project is a great success it is necessary to forge iron while it is hot. Immediately after Wolfenstein 3D became one of the best selling FPP proposals, the game developers quickly released its continuation entitled Spear of Destiny. Based on the same technology and the same rules of the game, a shooter was created as a prologue to the events shown in the original.
The story revolved around the artefact of the title. William Blazkowicz sets out to search for him with the intention of thwarting the Nazis' plans. The action is shown again from the eyes of the hero, who has a fairly wide range of weapons, acquired over time in order to effectively eliminate enemies.
The characteristic feature of the product remains the image of the character, gradually covered with blood as more and more portions of injury are taken. There was no shortage of hidden rooms, full of valuable lights, better weapons, ammunition and first aid kits. There is still a point counter, which motivates you to carefully search all corners of the available levels.
The number of lives has not changed either. The player gets only three to waste, with a vision for extras after reaching a certain point ceiling. The title was appreciated for his graphic design at the time.
The trial version offers the first two stages of a new story to play. It gives a not insignificant insight into what has changed in relation to the original. To have fun you will need to download and run the DOSBox program.
We also recommend that you read the video tutorial on how to configure it correctly.
